HUNDREDS OF SCARECROWS WILL BE SHOWCASED AROUND TOWN & MORE OCTOBER 6-8
ST. CHARLES–The 38th annual Scarecrow Weekend, presented by St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, will take place October 6th-8th in downtown St. Charles, Illinois! The event was formerly known as Scarecrow Fest.
100+ handmade scarecrows will be showcased around town for visitors to view and vote on their favorites. In addition to the contest, there will be two action-filled zones for you to enjoy throughout the weekend. The Family Zone in Lincoln Park will have live entertainment, 15+ family fun booths, a giant bubble artist, and a roaming magician. The Activity Zone on Riverside Ave will have festive photo ops, Scarecrow-to-Go, a professional pumpkin carver, Windy Acres Farm, pumpkin painting, and a fun house maze. Convenient, grab-and-go food will be available to purchase from local community groups and restaurants throughout downtown.
Don’t miss out on additional day to day activities such as the Frankmobile (Weinermobile), ice cream eating contests, the Windy City Ghostbusters, and more!
While visiting, make sure to treat yourself to the many sales, specials, and events happening throughout town including the Autumn on the Fox Craft Show in Pottawatomie Park.
