LISLE–The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois, is set to host its 13th Annual Glass Pumpkin Patch, offering a unique and colorful autumnal experience to visitors. This year, the event will kick off on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 1pm, and will run through Sunday, October 15.


Over the course of three days, the arboretum will showcase a mesmerizing collection of 5,000 hand-blown glass pumpkins, each one a unique work of art. The pumpkins are crafted by 17 talented artists, making this event a testament to creativity and craftsmanship.


The event is not just about admiring these unique creations. Visitors also have the opportunity to learn about the process of glassblowing. They can watch the artists at work, transforming molten glass into intricate pumpkin sculptures.


In addition to the public display, an exclusive member preview event will be held on Friday, October 13 from 10am-1pm.. This pre-sale event allows members to have the first pick from the stunning collection.


The Glass Pumpkin Patch is located at the West Lawn and Staff Lot of the Arboretum grounds.. Alongside the pumpkin display, visitors can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the arboretum. The event forms part of the Fall Color Festival, which celebrates the vibrant hues of the season.
