Fall Is Fun at DuPage Children’s Museum

NAPERVILLE–At DuPage Children’s Museum (DCM), we’re experts at making learning FUN! We’ve created virtual programs that will inspire young learners to make big discoveries about science, engineering, math, and art. Choose from a variety of 45-minute STEM with DCM labs (times vary) or our Arts & Maker After School program (M – F, 3 – 5 pm). Walks, Talks & Stories for Kids

Creek Bend Nature Center, Kane County

St. CHARLES–Enjoy stories, explore the outdoors at Creek Bend Nature Center, and learn how to create beautiful things with nature! Each new monthly video will feature a book read by a St. Charles Public Library librarian, introduce a fun craft for you to do at home, and highlight a monthly StoryWalk®. No registration is required for this free program. Creek Bend Nature Center is located within LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve at 37W700 Dean St., St. Charles.

Pumpkin Fest at Cosley Zoo • October 1-31

WHEATON–Taking in the beautiful fall colors at Cosley Zoo is a must-do! See the animals in the crisp fall air, listen to the squeals of excitement from the children conquering the straw pyramid and take in the hundreds of pumpkins scattered on the zoo’s lawn.
