Highly anticipated news for the Northern Illinois community arrived today, as Hard Rock opened its doors in Rockford on Wednesday morning, with the Rockford Casino: Hard Rock Opening Act grand opening.
Coming Over the Next Two Years, The Final Location for Rockford's Casino
The casino, located at 610 N Bell School Rd, officially opened to the public at 11am on November 10. According to shared press details, the new casino has two unique restaurants, a pop-up retail store, and over 8,500 square feet of gaming space with 635 slots and Interblock Electronic Table Games. It will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Temporary Location of Rockford's Casino Opened November 10, 2021
The interim casino, which is inside the former Giovanni’s Restaurant & Convention Center, is expected to operate for about two years while the full resort is built on the former Clock Tower Resort site.
