Children ages 3-12 will Take Place in Naperville’s Own “Tour de France” - Junior Tour de Naperville Set for Saturday, August 9
NAPERVILLE–Celebrate the Tour de France right here in Naperville with the Park District’s annual Junior Tour de Naperville on Saturday, August 9. Children ages 3-12 have the opportunity to ride bikes, tricycles or big wheels along the 1.2-mile loop trail at Wolf’s Crossing Community Park, located at 3252 Wolf’s Crossing Road. Parents are welcome to accompany their child around the course or cheer for them from the sidelines. All participants are required to wear a helmet.
Each age group will start at separate times. The 3-5-year-olds will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by the 6-8-year-olds at 10:00 a.m. and finishing with the 9-12-year-olds at 11:00 a.m. The older children are encouraged to challenge themselves by riding around the course as many times as they can. Each registered child will receive a yellow t-shirt, and there will be “support and gear” (SAG) stops throughout the course with water for the participants.
Registration for the 2025 Junior Tour de Naperville is in progress with opening in the 3-5 and 9-12 age groups; the 6-8-years-old group is at capacity. To learn more information and register for the event, visit www.napervilleparks.org/juniortourdenaperville.
