Marq on Main Ribbon Cutting, Lisle (June 13)
Village of Lisle officials and the Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce joined Marquette Companies to formally open Marq on Main, the new luxury apartment complex on the site of the Old Village Hall in Downtown Lisle with a ribbon cutting and celebration on Thursday, June 13. Eric Ertmoed, Lisle Village Manager represented Mayor Chris Pecak, who was traveling.
Mayor Pecak, commenting on the project, said “As we near the completion of Marq on Main, I’m excited to welcome Lisle’s newest residents. I’m looking forward to the excitement and vibrancy generated by Lisle’s newest mixed-use neighborhood.” The project construction began in April of 2016 and moved in its first residents late last year. As of May, Marq on Main is more than 50% occupied.
Marq on Main is situated at the corner of Main Street and Burlington Avenue, across from the Lisle Metra Station in the heart of Downtown Lisle, with indoor parking for residents and tenants, as well as 35 new on-street parking spaces. Approximately 14,000 square feet of new commercial space will add restaurant and retail uses that will strengthen the commercial district, build foot traffic and further enhance the Downtown’s increasingly attractive dining destination.
Newly ensconced tenants include Get Fit Together fitness center, providing residents with 24-hour access to a fully equipped health club and training center. Get Fit Together owner Joseph McDonald also offers a private training studio to the public, for on-site personal training, group training, fitness classes, health assessments and body fat analysis as well as nutritional counseling.
Set for Grand Opening on June 19th by owners Joe and NicoleDi Braccio is Caffe di Mode, featuring LaVazza espresso and coffee drinks, foccace, piadine, Panini, salads, fresh vegetable sides, as well as fresh baked Italian pastries. A grab ‘n go case will offer yogurt, fruit, meats, cheeses and lunch items commuters can grab with their morning coffee. Eventually a Skip-the-Line app will allow customers to order and pay ahead and pick up their items on the run. The development will feature a new plaza offering outdoor dining adjacent to the featured restaurants at Main and Burlington, as well an additional outdoor plaza at Spencer and Burlington, which will be served by Café Di Mode.

Marq on Main offers 1-bedroom apartments from $1540-$1750, 1-bedroom with den for $1775-$2200 and 2-bedroom apartment homes from $2130-2495. Amenities residents can enjoy include a resort-style pool with cabanas and sun deck, as well as a pergola lounge, fire table and grilling stations.
