#1 | Tuesday Night Markets

AURORA–Tuesday Night Markets will be held outdoors in the Fox Yard from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (excluding July 4th). Attendees can shop at 40 different vendors, including local crafters and artisans, bakers selling kettle corn, funnel cakes, and a beer tent with live music from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Children’s activities include balloon twisting, activity stations, face painting and a bounce house.

#2 | Gardener’s Art Festival

NAPERVILLE–The Gardener’s Art Fest features one-of-a-kind art from 25+ local makers and artists as you stroll under the trees and listen to live music at The Growing Place in Naperville on July 8th at 10 a.m. In addition to shopping, you can also enjoy learning about Forest Bathing, Biophilic Design for the Home, Plein Air Painting, and fresh, made-to-order pizzas.

#3 | Wine Down Wednesdays

ST. CHARLES–Bring your favorite bottle of wine to relax and unwind with a smooth riverboat ride on July 19th and August 16th on the St. Charles Paddlewheel River Boat. Enjoy live music from local artists and the picturesque scenery along the Fox River. Visit the Wine Exchange prior to the cruise and receive 10% off a bottle of wine by showing your boarding pass.

#4 | Sidewalk Sale

DOWNERS GROVE–Join downtown Downers Grove businesses for the annual sidewalk sale on July 20th starting at 10 a.m. through July 22nd at 5 p.m. Shop the best of boutiques and stop for lunch al fresco!

#5 | Unique Tent Dining

WHEATON–The Innovator Hale Street Tents return for another spectacular summer of outdoor dining, live music, and fun! This months-long event has become a community favorite, attracting thousands of diners each year. With live music throughout the summer, the Hale Street Tents are a Downtown Wheaton destination not to be missed this summer.

#6 | Art Fair

GENEVA–For over 20 years, the juried Geneva Arts Fair has risen in attendance and notoriety. The fine arts show showcases fine artisans from around the country in a host of mediums from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from July 29 through July 30th. Historic downtown Geneva serves as a picturesque backdrop for the outdoor fine arts show on Third Street in Geneva.

#7 | Glamping

CHICAGO–The Gwen offers the city’s first urban glamping experience perched on the 16th floor of the landmark McGraw-Hill building. The Gwen Lux Suite Terrace has picturesque views and boasts an expansive Lotus Belle tent measuring 16-feet in diameter featuring an eclectic bohemian aesthetic, lavish furnishings, a braided Indian jute rug, with a Black Pearl bed as the centerpiece.

#8 | Friends Trivia

WINFIELD–Gather all your friends and come out to Friends Trivia Night at Caliendo's Restaurant & Bar. July 16, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Enjoy a night of entertainment while appreciating your favorite Italian food cravings from the scratch kitchen. Unwind with a cold one or sip on something from the extensive beverage menu featuring signature martinis, specialty cocktails and more.

#9 | Sips of Summer: A Cocktail Experience

NAPERVILLE–Celebrate the 90th anniversary of the end of prohibition with this year's Sips of Summer Cocktail Experience at Morton’s Steakhouse on July 21st.
