A Beautiful Event is Planned for January 20 at Naper Settlement Featuring Over 60 Wedding Vendors Engaged couples will plan their special day with the help of over 60 local wedding vendors at Naper Settlement’s annual Wedding Showcase on January 20, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wedding Showcase gives couples the chance to enjoy personal consultations with photographers, florists, musicians, and other professionals in the wedding industry from Naperville and the surrounding western suburbs. With the addition of the new Birck Family Innovation Gateway as well as the Mary and Richard Benck Family Agriculture Center, Wedding Showcase will include more wedding professionals than ever before. Spread throughout Naper Settlement’s museum campus, couples will meet one-on-one with the best in the wedding business to find out how to make their special day one to remember. The first 20 attendees at Wedding Showcase will receive a free ice cream scoop coupon from Jeni's Ice Cream. Guests who visit each vendor booth can enter a raffle to win a prize, including gift cards, hotel room stay certificates, and more from Wedding Showcase vendors. “Wedding Showcase provides couples the opportunity to truly connect with local businesses through personal consultations,” said Melissa Huffman, guest services representative at Naper Settlement. “Couples will get a better understanding of their wedding vision after speaking with dozens of wedding professionals, and this will help them immensely as they plan their big day.” Tickets to Wedding Showcase are free and now available. ****THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED***** THIS JANUARY DOZENS OF LOCAL VENDORS AND NEW TIMED ENTRY TICKETS Naper Settlement’s annual Wedding Showcase returns on January 16, 2021 with complimentary timed entry tickets available from 10-11:50 a.m., 12:10-1:50 p.m., and 2:10-4 p.m. Over 30 local vendors from Naperville, Lisle, Aurora, and the surrounding western suburbs will help couples plan their dream wedding with booths set up in the museum’s historic Pre-Emption House, Meeting House, and Century Memorial Chapel. Visitors will rotate through each of the three buildings with 30 minutes at each location to meet with vendors providing services in every aspect of wedding planning, including photographers, caterers, florists, musicians, and more. Due to capacity restrains, a timed entry ticket is required for all guests. “This year’s new timed entry tickets will not only limit capacity but provide couples the opportunity to truly connect with local businesses,” said Melissa Katchen, Naper Settlement’s Senior Team Leader of Organizational Resources. “One of the best aspects of Naper Settlement’s Wedding Showcase has always been its intimate setting with one-on-one consultations. Those personal connections are an important part of realizing your vision for your wedding.” When guests arrive and check in at the event, they will be entered into a raffle with prizes provided by Wedding Showcase vendors. Raffle prizes include a complimentary wine and cheese tasting, a gift bag of hair care products, an overnight hotel room stay certificate, gift cards, and more.
