MOM OF FOUR GIRLS HELPS COUNTLESS INDIVIDUALS GET HEALTHY BATAVIA–Stacy Summers has been involved in the health and wellness industry in many capacities for over 20 years. She started as a fitness instructor in 1998, and then in 2006, she created a global weight loss program with hired certified health coaches she called Bod E Talk. In 2015, she took Bod E Talk online as a weight loss and healthy living program where members have access to their coaches 24/7. “Bod E Talk is not a one and done program,” says Stacy. “We don’t offer cookie-cutter fitness plans, but rather help each member customize what will work best for them.” Under the direction of a certified health coach, members learn to interpret what their bodies are telling them to customize their goals. Bod E Talk can be applied no matter what your eating or exercise preferences. The program has worked with Crossfitters to Yogis, marathon runners to daily walkers, along with those who are vegan, paleo or anything in-between. As a mom of four girls, Stacy wanted to be able to talk to her girls about body image, weight and nutrition without the stigma attached to numbers like actual weight, calorie counting, points or macros. “It was important to me to teach them this healthy lifestyle and learn to develop a relationship with their bodies rather that a relationship to the scale,” says Stacy. She loves hearing from her members that the program is “life changing”.
