RON HAIN ANNOUNCES RUN FOR KANE COUNTY SHERIFF Innovative Programs are the Key to Law-Enforcement Success SUGAR GROVE–Decorated Sheriff’s Sergeant, Ron Hain, officially announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for Kane County Sheriff May 18 outside the Regional Office of Education at 28 N. First Street in Geneva. “As a lifelong resident, I can state without reservation that Kane County is a great place to raise a family,” Hain said, “Now I want to give back to the community that’s given so much to me by serving as your Sheriff.” Hain will cover his platform and dynamic initiatives at the press conference, including: 1. Innovative criminal apprehension programs 2. Restructuring the Public Safety Division to better serve a 21st century community 3. An already active Skills to Jobs Program to reduce the re-incarceration rate 4.
