AREA RESIDENTS EXCITED ABOUT THE RETURN OF PRAIRIEFEST OSWEGO–Happy Days are Here Again! For this year only, the Oswegoland Park District proudly presents PrairieFest Friday, September 3-Monday, September 6 of Labor Day Weekend. With Free Admission, Free Parking, Free Concerts & Entertainment your whole family can fill their weekend with festival fun. In addition to the annual Carnival, new entertainment this year includes a Trampoline Show all weekend and a Laser Light Show on Saturday & Sunday nights. A variety of local bands including Boy Band Night and Whiskey Romance perform all weekend long, while Uncle Kracker headlines Saturday evening. ANNOUNCING 4 DAYS OF LIVE MUSIC, A CARNIVAL AND MORE! The Naperville Jaycees is extremely happy to announce the reprise of its Naperville Last Fling annual outdoor festival! The 2021 Last Fling will take place throughout Labor Day Weekend, from Friday, September 3rd to Monday, September 6th, as a scaled-down, end-of-summer block party-style community event along Jackson Avenue in downtown Naperville. Save the dates to join the members, volunteers, and neighbors in enjoying the weekend’s live music, food and beverages, and carnival fun! For bands to be considered for performance inclusion at the Men In Black Pest Control Services Stage (Riverview Lot; 100 W. Jackson Ave.), submissions for band performances at the 2021 Last Fling are now being accepted through 5/15/21 at www.LastFling.org/JacksonStage, with the following information included: name of the act, contact name & number, availability for September 3-6, performance price, and music sample (including a video or YouTube link). Bands must have 90 to 120 minutes of material. “The Naperville Jaycees is proud of the many years of community contributions it has facilitated via the Last Fling, and excited to put together another fantastic festival in 2021,” said Cori Cozort, President of the Naperville Jaycees. The Last Fling is the Naperville Jaycees’ largest fundraiser, raising over two million dollars for non-profit organizations throughout Naperville and DuPage County in the past 20 years. The Jaycees thank you for your support of the Last Fling, as well as all past and new volunteers and sponsors who have continued to support the organization throughout the years. THE LAST FLING HELD OVER LABOR DAY WEEKEND WITH MAJOR HEADLINERS, FAMILY EVENTS & MORE  NAPERVILLE–The Naperville Jaycees Last Fling is a family-friendly community festival that takes place over Labor Day Weekend along the Riverwalk in Downtown Naperville and, for many, is a fun way to say farewell to summer.  This year's Men In Black Pest Control Main Stage on Rotary Hill will feature national acts and the Jackson Avenue Block Party Stage will showcase local and regional bands throughout the weekend.  Last Fling 2018 Main Stage acts include the Pop 2000 Tour hosted by *NSYNC’s Lance Bass featuring O-Town, Aaron Carter, Ryan Cabrera and Tyler Hilton on Friday (8/31). The Loudwire Gen-X Summer Tour is Saturday (9/1) featuring Buckcherry, P.O.D., Lit and Alien Ant Farm. Sunday (9/2) is Cheap Trick and Lucky Boys Confusion!  Family Fun Land will provide a family-friendly atmosphere at Naper Settlement featuring Barefoot Hawaiian (9/1) and a meet and greet with the Medieval Times Queen Dona Maria Isabella (9/2). This year join in as we try to set a new world record for ‘Most People Wearing Paper Crowns’ on (9/2). Family Fun Land will also feature a wax hand molding station, family entertainment, food and much more!  The family friendly Fling Mile takes place on Monday (9/3) before the Naperville Jaycee’s Labor Day Parade kicks off at 10am. Additionally, the carnival will be open all weekend long and patrons with special needs will get exclusive, priority, no-wait seating on Sunday (9/4) from 9am-10am (wristband required).
