NEW, FREE OUTDOOR DRIVE-THRU EVENT FOR FAMILIES TO CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAY It’s time for sights of eerie lights and smallish frights! Halloween will look different this year, and Naperville Park District is introducing a new event, Halloween Nights Lights, to celebrate the season in line with current health guidelines and with a twist of family-friendly fun and surprises. Halloween Nights Lights, presented by Woody Buick GMC of Naperville, will take place Thursday and Friday evenings, October 29 and 30 at the parking lot and circle drive at Centennial Beach, located at 500 W. Jackson Avenue. Participants will enjoy a short drive-through tour of scenes and lights, as the entrance to Centennial Beach is transformed into a world filled with Halloween wonders. Advanced registration is required and due to limited availability, the event is open to Naperville residents only; this is a free event. Registration for this event opens at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7 at www.napervilleparks.org/HalloweenNightsLights . When registering, participants will choose one of the available 30-minute time slots and will be limited to one vehicle per family. Themed car games and activities will distributed to each vehicle upon arrival to help pass the time during the wait to view the lights and scenes. Additionally, goody bags will be distributed to children ages 10 and under who are present in each vehicle. Walk-up visits to view the lights and scenery are not permitted. This event is supported by a number of corporate partners, including presenting sponsor, Woody Buick GMC of Naperville, The Health Doctors, Living Well Dental Group, Rocket Ice, Topgolf, Rose Pest Solutions, Renewal by Andersen, FBC Remodel, Russian School of Mathematics, Aurelio’s Pizza and DuPage Medical Group. Prior to attending, guests are asked to review the COVID-19 Participation Guidelines for Outdoor Events. For weather cancellation information, visit napervilleparks.org/cancellations. The Park District’s traditional event, Halloween Happening, will not take place this year. ALL FALL FUN
