The Celebrated Resort Launches Its Eighth Bar and Restaurant, Completing A Culinary Journey for Guests and Local Residents NAPLES– The Ritz-Carlton, Naples  celebrates the debut of Nolita , the latest culinary experience for the newly renovated resort known for its exceptional culinary offerings. Drawing inspiration from its namesake neighborhood in New York, Nolita features artisan pastas made in-house from 00 durum wheat and semolina, as well as hand-tossed pizzas and a menu of familiar Italian classics influenced by family recipes. ENJOY THE RAMSAY'S KITCHEN EXPERIENCE IN DOWNTOWN NAPERVILLE NAPERVILLE–I have always been a fan of Celebrity Chef TV shows, especially Master Chef and Hell’s Kitchen. I have dreamt about trying dishes made by the world-renowned Chef Gordon Ramsay and recently, my dream came true! Downtown Naperville’s most well-known restaurant also happens to be one of its newest. Chef Ramsay has expanded his brand of amazing restaurants with one of his latest and greatest creations, Ramsay’s Kitchen!  The ambiance is upscale yet very welcoming. The motif of the restaurant was specifically designed to incorporate things that represent Ramsey's London roots; from the British Flag-inspired light fixture in the center of the restaurant to the half tunnels you sit under reminiscent of the London Underground. The impressive menu consists of several of his most popular dishes from across the globe like his famous fish and chips and hamburgers. I started the evening with the most amazing jumbo lump crab cake in existence. As many know, Ramsay’s most iconic dish is the Beef Wellington. Served medium rare and taking two days to perfect, this dish absolutely lives up to its reputation and hands down was my favorite of the evening. And of course, I indulged in the Sticky Toffee Pudding that everyone raves about.  Ramsay once said, “from an early age I understood that cooking was never going to be a job, it’s a passion” and you absolutely see that passion exuding from the entire wait staff, managers and Chefs.  The Naperville location is where the chefs are trained before being deployed to various locations. During my visit I was honored to have met Chef Wyatt, who will be the new Executive Chef for their newest location in Oklahoma City. DRIVE-THRU CHANGE BEING MADE TO INCREASE SPEED + SAFETY It's true that for some cash is king, but if they are headed to a  Portillo's  Drive-Thru after January 16, 2023, they better come prepared with their credit or debit card.  According to NBC 5 Chicago, Portillo's announced on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, that all of its restaurant locations will stop accepting cash for drive-thru orders beginning  January 16, 2023 . Portillo's is hoping this change will make the drive-thru ordering process faster for customers and safer for their employees at the same time. Fiora's , located in a picturesque landmark building and property on 3rd Street in downtown Geneva has featured casual, contemporary American fine dining and exquisite wines that countless area residents have come to adore. The announcement was made today in social media. It reads as follows: Every good story has an ending. As only a few of you know, Mike suffered a critical health event this past year. He still has a tough road ahead of him that requires our complete focus. For this reason and with great sadness, we announce the closing of Fiora’s effective today (January 3, 2023). Fiora’s story is full of good food, fine wines, laughter, and love. This story would not have existed without you. With such warmth and gratitude, we recognize that everyone can choose where to go to share a meal with friends or celebrate a special occasion and we thank you for sharing it with us. You made the story of Fiora’s so very special. It was such a difficult decision to close Fiora’s. We opened Fiora’s to serve the community and continue the legacy of a beautiful, historic house. It has been such an honor to have been part of your lives for 13 wonderful years. We will miss our staff and all of you! But it gives us great solace to know we will remain the owners of and cherish this beautiful building for years to come. We ask for your understanding and support during this time.
