1.What's your go-to girl power song, and why? What's your go-to girl power song, and why? Brave by Sara Bareilles– this song holds so much meaning. In all facets of life, as women, we need to be brave. From family to career and everything in between, life can be hard sometimes, leaving us to face challenges and uncertainties. Often times being brave is our only option and it can help us persevere every time. With bravery comes strength and resilience.   2. If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be, and why?  Waverider so I could travel through time easily. Being able to rewind and visit the past would be AMAZING on so many levels.   3. Share a memorable moment from a community event or photo shoot that you've been a part of. I loved meeting Barabra Walters at North Central College in Naperville long ago in Glancer Magazine's earlier years. The community excitement that came with her arrival was exhilarating. She was always such an icon.   4. What's your favorite local hangout spot, and what do you love about it?  I have so many favorites, but I really love Downtown Geneva and its unique charm. Every street is so picturesque and so welcoming, with some of the best outdoor patios where you can enjoy a glass of wine or some scrumptious chocolate.   5. If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be, and why?  Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis. She was a true warrior who embraced grace and dignity while overcoming so much in her lifetime. She will always be one of my forever idols. In fact, my middle daughter who has Down syndrome is named after her and the name is so fitting for my strong, beautiful girl.      6. Describe your perfect staycation location in just three words.  Waterfront, Sunshine, Music   7. Share a funny or interesting anecdote about your experience in the community living or digital marketing industry.  My love for community living runs deeps. Having just completed our 219th issue of Glancer Magazine, life is never boring over here. I have too many funny stories to share but cannot possibly fit them all in!   8. What's a quirky talent or hobby that most people don't know you have?    I actually LOVE playing Backgammon and I'm even pretty good at it – GAME ON!   9. If you were to create a signature cocktail representing your role in the company, what would it be called and what ingredients would it have?  The Glancertini, of course– a mainstay from back in the day! Shaken or stirred? Vodka or Gin? Lemon twist or olives? That is all yet to be determined! The possibilities are endless. Coming soon: The Glancerita🌴   10. What's a piece of advice or mantra that resonates with you and guides your work in the community living or digital marketing field?    As Alanis Morsette sang in her hit song Ironic “Life has a funny, funny way of helping you out” and this could not be more true.
