WOMEN INSPIRED | Glen Ellyn Mom Chairs Wine Women & Shoes Event



A BENEFIT FOR BRIDGE COMMUNITIES

GLEN ELLYN–Set aside your slippers and dust off your stilettos – Bridge Communities will host its second annual Wine Women & Shoes (WW&S) event at the Marriott Chicago Oak Brook on Saturday, March 19, 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.


Chaired by Jeanie Hernandez-Porter, a Glen Ellyn resident who has a huge heart for volunteering. A former large company marketing executive, she now devotes herself to helping in her husband’s company, raising her 6 year old son, and enjoying being step mom to six grown step sons! (pictured above) A true fashionista, Jeanie is the Fashion Show chair the event. In this role, she has already secured Neiman-Marcus to provide all of the fashion and models for this event, as well as accomplished other among other amazing tasks to make sure the event perfect.



An irresistible blend of fashion and compassion, WW&S is about putting the “fun” in fundraising. The event gives women the opportunity to get glamorous with friends while enjoying good food and incredible varietals from top winemakers – all for a good cause. (Basically, it’s the best excuse to play grownup dress up, EVER.)


In addition to shopping peep-toes while sipping Pinots, guests will enjoy a delectable luncheon, and fashion show produced by ZZAZZ Productions featuring the latest spring fashions from Neiman Marcus Oak Brook, Anne Fontaine, MaxMara, St. John and Mira.


VIP Tickets are $200, VIP tables of eight are $1,600, General Tickets are $150, General tables of ten are $1,500 and all proceeds benefit Bridge Communities, which provides transitional housing, mentoring and supportive services to DuPage County families experiencing homelessness.
