SWEDISH DAYS GENEVA | These 3 Events Will Require Reservations

THE GENEVA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE INVITES RESIDENTS TO RESERVE THEIR TICKETS

The Geneva Chamber of Commerce announces open registration for three Swedish Days events that tickets/registration will be required to attend.

SWEDISH DAYS 5K • June 26

On Saturday, June 26 the annual Swedish Days 5K Lopp will commence at 7:30. This spirited Scandinavian race encourages runners to show their Swedish pride by dressing in their best blue and yellow. Register at https://raceroster.com/events/2021/47985/swedish-days-lopp-5k by June 10 to guarantee a t-shirt at packet pick-up.

SWEDISH DAYS DALA-PALOOZA • June 26

At 1 pm on Saturday, live music is back at Swedish Days Dala-Palooza. The Geneva Chamber of Commerce, assisted by Kane County Cougars, welcome ARRA and Trippin’ Billies to Northwestern Medicine Field. Elise Flagg Dance Studio and Lisa Thomen are also scheduled to perform. Drinks and food will be available to purchase. No outside drink or food may be brought into the stadium. These concerts will be in the Music Garden of the stadium so bring your own seats and blankets and enjoy a day of entertainment. Ticket purchasing ($15/ticket) is being done through the Kane County Cougars ticketing system at https://www.ticketreturn.com/prod2/Buy.asp?EventID=318335. There will also be a $5/car parking (cash only) that day.

CHOKLAD CRAWL • June 27

End Swedish Days on Sunday, June 27 with our new Choklad Crawl. Fifteen businesses will tempt all our senses with chocolate inspired products. This chocolate crawl will have you moving all around Geneva. Your $18 ticket includes all fifteen businesses and a goodie bag and can be purchased at https://www.genevachamber.com/product/choklad-crawl/.

The community and visitors look forward to Geneva festivals year after year. Knowing that the Chamber's first thought, during these uncertain times, is the health and safety of those who may attend a festival, this year’s festival will be held June 24-27, 2021.

These are just three of the events happening during Swedish Days. Residents are encouraged to continually check the event website for a complete schedule and for regular updates.
