SAYING GOODBYE | Geneva Mourns The Loss Of Graham's Chocolates Owner

OWNER OF DOWNTOWN GENEVA CHOCOLATE SHOP PASSED AWAY ON MARCH 21

GENEVA–The Geneva community is mourning the loss of Bob Untiedt, 64, proprietor of Graham's Chocolates in downtown Geneva, after he passed away March 21. “Bob’s humility, hospitality and humanity was without equal" Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns said. "He was much more than a business owner, he embodied the very essence of Third Street in Geneva - warm, welcoming, authentic, and always fun. We share the heartbreak with his family and hope they know our love for Bob is forever.“ According to his obituary, Mr. Untiedt "loved his family, employees, his community, music and chocolate. He had a heart for hospitality and brought that love and dedication to his businesses Graham's Fine Chocolates and Ice Cream in Geneva and Wheaton and Graham's 318 Coffee House in Geneva." Geneva's City flag at City Hall would have been lowered this week in his memory. All flags have been previously set at half-staff by the Governor to remember those who lost their lives to COVID-19, and the President to recognize the victims of the March 22 Boulder, Colo. supermarket shooting. The City extends its condolences to the Untiedt family and friends for their loss.
