A Drive-Thru Christmas Lights Attraction December 2021 Highpoint Church in Naperville Family Friendly Entertainment Tickets Available at ReindeerRoad.com #reindeerroad

ABOUT THE EVENT

Reindeer Road™ is a drive-thru lights attraction featuring giant lighted reindeer, theatrical lighting, a mailbox drop for letters to Santa, Christmas music, Reindeer Road LIVE, Christmas photo opportunities, occasional visits from Santa and Rudolph, and other family friendly entertainment. The Alive Center and KidsMatter, two local charities that serve kids and families, have been selected as the Official Partner Charities for the event.

Naperville business owner and Park Commissioner Rich Janor discovered that Christmas light displays brought joy to his family (Rhonda, Archer, Brooklyn and Caiden) during a challenging and dark time in our history. He sought to create an event that would bring this same joy and light to the entire community and any holiday visitors that wished to attend.

“We are thrilled to produce this one-of-a-kind, event for the community,” said Janor, President of Reindeer Events. “The 2020 Christmas season was wrought by pandemic-related shutdowns of popular traditions, restaurants, events, skating rinks, activities, etc. Many families sought to fill the void and find joy by driving around to view residential holiday light displays. We expect the popularity of Christmas light displays to continue to soar this year,” Janor added.

Fellow Naperville business owner Matt Baker of Brookdale Lighting created a popular neighborhood lights show in his cul-de-sac when he was only twelve years of age. Now, nine years later, his Manchester Lights Show has outgrown the neighborhood, so Baker has joined Janor in the creation of a new lighting experience, Reindeer Road™.

“After a great run with Manchester Lights, tens of thousands of visitors, and even some wedding proposals, the timing was right to join forces to create a larger event, and together, stage an attraction that will be entirely new and innovative,” said Baker. “Visitors and fans of Manchester Lights will no longer find the show in the cul-de-sac, but everyone is invited out to Reindeer Road™.” added Baker.

Various venues were considered as host sites, but the organizers ultimately selected Highpoint Church because its leaders displayed a “can do” attitude, were able to see the big picture exceptionally well, and immediately embraced the vision of bringing kids and families joy during the Christmas season. The venue is also easily accessible from Chicago and other suburbs via I-88.

Admission for the drive-thru attraction is only $10 per car, not per person, so carpooling with family and friends is encouraged.
