NAPERVILLE JOB FAIR | Community Job Fair at Fort Hill Activity Center this Saturday

Interested Applicants Invited to Learn about Full-Time, Part-Time and Seasonal Positions

Who: Individuals seeking summer jobs or part-time or year-round employment are invited to learn more about job opportunities at area businesses and at the Naperville Park District by attending the 2022 Community Job Fair. The Fair is co-hosted by the Naperville Park District and KidsMatter, and sponsored by Nicor Gas and the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise. The event is intended for a variety of job seekers, including high school students (age 15 and up), college students, retirees and adults of all ages.

State Representative Janet Yang Rohr will make a brief presentation in honor of KidsMatter’s 20th anniversary. Mayor Chirico also plans to attend.

What: This free event will give job seekers the opportunity to speak with representatives from Naperville area businesses and the Naperville Park District. Park District jobs offer flexible schedules and include positions at the golf courses, Centennial Beach and Fort Hill Activity Center, and in park maintenance, summer camps, food operations and more. KidsMatter, in partnership with the Career and Networking Center, will offer mock interviews, resume building and other workforce preparation for both high school students, college students and community members.

Why: The Job Fair is being offered at this time to help students get a jump start on summer employment while they are on break. The Park District and local businesses provide seasonal work that gives teens valuable work experience and skill development. Additionally, the Park District has full-time and part-time positions for adults in an excellent work environment with flexible hours.

When: The Community Job Fair will be held from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Representative Yang Rohr and Mayor Chirico will attend for a brief presentation beginning at 9:45 a.m.

Where: The event will take place at Fort Hill Activity Center in the gymnasium, first floor, located at 20 Fort Hill Drive in Naperville.
