The event opens at 7:15 am with programming beginning promptly at 8:00 am. The autographing session follows at 12:00 noon, at the conclusion of the Children's Literature Breakfast.

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet celebrated children’s authors, including dozens from Illinois. This is the perfect event for picture book through Young Adult enthusiasts. Guests will enjoy a full buffet breakfast while authors and illustrators circulate among the tables for in-person discussion. COVID protocols will include a proof of vaccination requirement to attend and all attendees must be masked when not eating or drinking.

More announcements are forthcoming, but thus far, Peter H. Reynolds is the first 20th Annual Anderson’s Bookshop Children’s Literature Breakfast keynote speaker.
