MUSIC NEWS | Glenbard West Alumn Hits #1 on World Famous LA Radio Station

A former Thespian and Varsity Forensics/Speech Team member, Jeff Pridgen (Glenbard West class of 2011, pictured above in the middle) left for Los Angeles shortly after graduation to pursue his dreams of becoming a professional musician and actor.

Jeff's most recent project began with the formation of Poe the Passenger [] a band dead-set on injecting vitality into the Alt-Rock music scene with a focus on self-love and community. Formed in 2017, Jeff teamed up with Trent Marderosian and Matt Rosenblum, musicians with the same vision. Poe clocked well over 100 live shows pre-pandemic, gaining a diverse following of fans from all around the world with a consistent theme of loving yourself and being "authentically you".

On November 11, 2020 (Black Friday) Poe the Passenger released their newest single, 'Follow Me' [Official Music Video:]. After receiving overwhelming fan support on social media, 'Follow Me' debuted on the World Famous KROQ radio station [VOTE NOW] on December 6 (only a week after the song's release) - landing a spot on their Locals Only show, which exclusively features the biggest and best up-and-coming bands based out of Los Angeles and Southern California.

"Follow Me" went on to be voted #3 on KROQ Locals Only, and remained in the top 3 from December 13 through this past Sunday, January 10, when Poe the Passenger officially hit NUMBER 1!
