JAZZ NIGHT | Virtual WDCB Event Featuring the Chris Greene Quartet

TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR VIRTUAL WDCB JAZZ NIGHT JUNE 26

Soothe into the sweet sounds of the Chris Green Quartet from the comfort of your home on Friday, June 26th at 7pm.

Saxophonist and composer Chris Greene has collaborated with some of the nation’s most creative and versatile musicians. Greene plays with a variety of groups in a variety of genres. “I wanted to go outside of tradition, to bring in these ridiculously talented players who because they weren’t known for playing jazz would bring something new to the music,” said Greene (chrisgreenejazz.com).

Green has performed/recorded with the following artists: Common, The Temptations, Eric Roberson, Ed Motta, Steve Coleman & Five Elements, Maysa Leak, Ten City, Sheena Easton, Steve Cole, Michael Manson, Andrew Bird, The J. Davis Trio, Chris Rob, Vic Lavender, Jesse De La Pena, Liquid Soul and The Mighty Blue Kings. Chris Greene was also featured in the "Play On" episode of the FOX-TV show, "Empire" and he also composed the score for the Chicago Childrens’ Theatre’s recent production of “Bud, Not Buddy."

Join us for an evening of music and art with WDCB and the sounds of the Chris Green Quartet. You'll be able to watch the performance right at 7pm on June 26th or enjoy it for a later date with a downloadable link.
