GOTHAM CITY | Many Chicago Streets Closed Today Due to Filming "The Batman"

CHICAGO APPEARING IN SCENES FROM NEW "THE BATMAN" MOVIE

As many Chicago news outlets have reported, many downtown Chicago streets will be closed for the weekend due to the filming of "The Batman", according to The Chicago Department of Transportation.

As exciting as it sounds, filmmakers are once again turning parts of downtown Chicago into Gotham City, and residents can't wait for its release. "The Batman" will star Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz and several other big names, but much to the dismay of their fans, it sounds like they won't be in Chicago to film these scenes this weekend.

Street closures will be near the Thompson Center on Randolph St., and at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Balbo Drive, according to Chicago officials.

Robert Pattinson will play Bruce Wayne.
