Glen Ellyn Park District’s Movie in the Park: The Super Mario Bros. Movie
Date: Wednesday, June 5
Time: 7:30 pm
Location: Lake Ellyn Park, 645 Lenox Road
Join us for an outdoor screening of "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" in the park. Remember to bring your own chairs or blankets for a comfortable viewing experience. We also suggest packing bug spray and your favorite movie snacks and beverages. This event is open to all ages. No registration is required, and admission is free. Perfect for those who find regular pool hours overwhelming, this evening offers a gentler experience for individuals with sensory sensitivities. Sensory Swim Night is open to all ages. Spend an evening at Ackerman SFC filled with bingo, pizza, and prizes. Several rounds will be played, and prizes like gift cards and candy will be awarded at the end of each round. Glen Ellyn Park District’s Gone Fishin’ Derby

Cast your lines at our catch-and-release fishing derby! You’ll have an hour to catch as many fish as you can. Prizes will be awarded for the largest, smallest, and most fish caught in three age groups: 3-5 years, 6-8 years, and 9-12 years, as well as for the overall 'Best Dressed Angler.' The registration fee includes bait, snacks, and activities (note: participants must bring their own fishing poles). This event is for children ages 3-12, accompanied by an adult. The Beer Cellar, Two Hound Red, and Common Good Cocktail House will be selling drinks, while a variety of food trucks offer food for purchase. Bring a chair or blanket to hang out on the lawn. Glen Ellyn Park District’s Freedom Four 4-Mile Run/Walk

Start your July 4th holiday at the Freedom Four 4-Mile Run/Walk, a family-friendly event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Glen Ellyn Parks Foundation’s Scholarship Fund, providing access to Glen Ellyn Park District recreation and athletic programs for families in need. The race kicks off at 7:30 am, with awards presented. The registration fee includes entry into the race and a t-shirt. This event is open to ages 5 and up, and registration is required.
