Play More this Summer at DuPage Children’s Museum NAPERVILLE–Explore, create, build, discover, think, play, and more! Every visit is an adventure in fun and learning (with a little silliness mixed in). DCM Express, a mini pop-up experience featuring trains, has rolled into the Museum for the summer, along with Art Is Instrumental Remix. Both back by popular demand! Camp Art Fiesta! July 16-19 NAPERVILLE–Unleash your child’s creativity this summer! This happy art camp provides children a wonderful introduction to a range of diverse forms of visual art. In the four day camp, each day is an art adventure that includes projects like canvas painting, ceramics, mosaics, soap and candle making. All materials are provided. Night at the Movies with Naperville Park District NAPERVILLE–Enjoy a free movie under the stars this summer with the Naperville Park District! Five family-friendly movies will delight audience members of all ages with dates in June, July, August and September. Events will rotate between Rotary Hill near downtown Naperville and Frontier Sports Complex located in south Naperville. Movie-goers are invited to bring their own chairs and snacks to enjoy. Moon Mania! July 18 • 6:30-9:30pm SUGAR GROVE–Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing at Waubonsee Community College! Moon Mania is a free, family-friendly community event on Waubonsee’s Sugar Grove campus on Thursday, July 18 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. See real artifacts from NASA including moon rocks, an astronaut's helmet, an astronaut's meal and more. View the night sky through a telescope and enjoy snacks, crafts, games and fun surprises. Don’t miss this out-of-this-world experience! Visit to RSVP.

Bug Fest’s 10th Anniversary at Red Oak Nature Center BATAVIA – It’s Bug Fest’s 10th anniversary! Insects and the fascinating world of bugs will take center stage at the Fox Valley Park District’s Red Oak Nature Center in Batavia. This popular, late-summer event is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 17. The free, family-friendly, stroller-friendly event will feature fun and educational attractions with a swarm of bug-related activities, demonstrations and crafts.
