WEST SUBURBAN VIP | Teen Influencer & Musical Artist, Ava Morse

AVA MORSE, NAPERVILLE You Tube Sensation, Actor/Singer There are defining moments when we watch our children and realize how inspiring they are even at such young ages. They radiant kindness, are non-discriminatory, lack judgement, and simply let their natural talents shine without reservation.

In Ava’s first professional theatre performance she played the role of Molly in Annie at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora.

“The way she commanded that stage was fearless,” says her mother, Debra. “I thought to myself, ‘how does this six year-old just know how to do that?’ Ava’s stage presence is something you simply cannot teach. It is truly a gift.”

Now 13 years old, Ava launched her music career with an original debut single "What True Friends Do” and just released her first EP with five songs about positivity and confidence, written exclusively by Ava. Her EP release concert will be April 26th in Downers Grove.

Beyond being involved with every aspect of the production process, Ava has also had roles in network television shows and in national commercials, such as Kelloggs Cinnamon Frosted Flakes and Hebrew National Hot Dogs, was featured in ‘Surprise Me’; had a recurring role on NBC Universal's Chicago PD, followed by being cast in the pilot TV series History of Us (CBS).

Ava's growing list of theatre credits include the World Premiere of Hazel (Benadetta Bomicino); Gypsy (Baby June); Seussical The Musical (Jojo); Billy Elliot (Ballet Girl); A Christmas Carol (Emily Cratchit/Child in Doorwary/Want); Les Misérables (Little Cosette); and Annie (Molly). Ava is also proud member of SAG-AFTRA and her résumé includes an accomplished list of commercial credits and voice-over credits.

She is a true triple threat of talent. Ava trains in dance (ballet, contemporary, jazz & hip hop) and privately with her vocal and acting coaches; however, she is also a typically teen and enjoys playing basketball, volleyball and flag football. She loves pop music, hanging out with friends, going to the mall and downtown Naperville, posting live streams on Instagram, and aspires to go to college to study music and engineering.

Her goal is to inspire others as she has been inspired by Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande. “After performing at the Alive Center’s Dare To Be Rare fashion in show in Naperville, I received a letter from a girl who was inspired to start singing in her choir at school,” Ava says. “That made me feel so good that I was her motivation!” -Kristen Kucharski
