2019 CONCERTS IN THE PARK | Naperville Park District Chooses Locations Based on Resident Votes


ANNOUNCING THE "YOUR CONCERT, YOUR PARK, YOUR CHOICE" WINNERS

More than 700 Votes Cast for Summer Concert Locations and Music Styles

The Naperville Park District is pleased to announce the results of the “Your Concert, Your Park, Your Choice” online contest. From January 16-27, more than 700 Naperville residents cast votes for preferred locations and styles of music for the 2019 summer concert series,” Concerts in Your Park.” The winning parks include two from each region of the Naperville Park District: north, central and south.

The 2019 concert locations are as follows:

North Napevrille

Century Farms Park, 715 Sigmund Road

Queensbury Greens, 1520 Brookdale Road

Central Naperville

Gartner Park, 524 W. Gartner Road

Walnut Ridge Park, 2304 Keim Drive

South Naperville

A. George Pradel Park, 4519 Pradel Drive

White Eagle Park, 140 White Eagle Drive Concert performers and dates for each of the locations will be announced this spring.

About the Naperville Park District: Created in 1966, the Naperville Park District is an independent, municipal agency serving the recreation needs of its residents. The District is one of only 1% of park districts across the country to be nationally accredited through the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA). The Naperville Park District’s mission is to provide recreation and park experiences that promote healthy lives, healthy minds and a healthy community. The District maintains and operates more than 2,400 acres with 137 parks and provides more than 1,500 recreational, arts and environmental programs and special events annually.
