SEAN HAYES RELEASES CHILDREN'S BOOK AND VISITS NAPERVILLE'S ANDERSON'S BOOKSHOP TO CELEBRATE
Television and Broadway star Sean Hayes, a Glenbard West high School grad, is returning to his earlier roots this fall when he visits the area in celebration of Hayes’ new project: his new picture book, Plum, written with co-author and husband, Scott Icenogle.
Anderson’s Bookshop Naperville is delighted to welcome Hayes and Icenogle on Tuesday, November 27 at 7 pm for a special book signing event in support of their debut title. This event is set for Anderson’s Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave., in the heart of Naperville. The format will be a photo and book signing line only. Tickets are required and available exclusively at PlumAndersons.brownpapertickets.com.
Additional books will also be sold at the event. This one is a perfect holiday title from an admired and multi-honored star of television and successful producer.
About the Book From “Will & Grace” star Sean Hayes and composer Scott Icenogle comes a modern classic inspired by The Nutcracker about how the Sugar Plum Fairy got her wings. Plum will not stay glum. For as long as she can remember, Plum has lived at the Mary Fitzgerald Orphanage, wishing and hoping for a family. When a sudden snowfall threatens a delivery of presents on Christmas Eve, Plum is determined to save Christmas—even for the kids who laugh at her. Plum’s pure heart grants her an unexpected reward. When she eats a cake left behind by a mysterious magician, she is transported into the Land of Sweets. But Christmas here is threatened, too—by a sourness that is spreading from the center of the land. Plum’s determined to help, and in doing so, she might just find the family she’s always dreamed of, thanks to a good heart—and Christmas magic!
