LITERARY LOCALS | George Larson of Sugar Grove

DICK ROUSTS THE RUSSKIE George Larson of Sugar Grove is a retired special agent for the U.S. State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service and has 50 years of experience in the investigative, security, counter-terrorism and law enforcement fields. He has plenty of stories and ideas he can tap into while writing his Dick Avery Adventure Series under the pen name of Richard Avery.

Dick Rousts the Russkie is the seventh book in his eight-book series, with more books to be released in the future. In the story, Ex-KGB officer, Vladimir Booskowsky is orchestrating terrorist attacks on oil production and transport facilities of the nation of Bhatar’s competitors in the Persian Gulf. The Russian Federal Intelligence Service (SVR), out of desperation and pragmatism, approaches the U.S. State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service to assist in hunting down and neutralizing Vlad. Special agent, Dick Avery, is assigned to the case. He and his counterpart, SVR Major Ludmilla Petrova, take on the most important investigation in their careers. One that will take them to East Africa and the Middle East in pursuit of Vlad.

George spent nearly ten years trying to get his book professionally published and finally succeeded two years ago with the Tell-Tale Publishing Group. His books can be found in book stores, online in paperback, e-book and audio formats.
