1. PINK 5K Saturday May 12, 2018 OAK BROOK–Help fight breast cancer in stride at the Oak Brook Park District's annual Pink 5K Run/Walk. Over $65,000 has been raised for LOCAL breast cancer outreach and screenings, donated to the Open Arms Breast Cancer Outreach Fund, Hinsdale Hospital Foundation. Your registration will help provide lifesaving cancer screenings to women throughout the greater Chicagoland area! The donation goal this year is $10,000. 2. MORTON ARBORETUM WINE DINNER Enjoy a quite themed dinner with mom highlighting wine. Dine on a delicious five-course meal expertly paired with a variety of wines from Orin Swift winery. Relax with a scenic view of Meadow Lake and enjoy live music while learning about the wines and the food pairings directly from the representative from Orin Swift and their Arboretum Chefs. www.mortonarb.org

3. ADOPT PET SHELTER MAKIN' STRIDES FOR STRAYS Sunday, May 6 NAPERVILLE–Bring your best pal and join A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter for our 25th anniversary of Makin' Strides for Strays! Enjoy a 2.5 mile walk that winds through downtown Naperville. Fun for the whole family with music, vendors and food. You don't want to miss it. 5. TASTE OF GLEN ELLYN May 17-May 20 Get ready for the 41st Annual Taste of Glen Ellyn being held the weekend before Memorial Day Weekend. The Taste of Glen Ellyn is a family event featuring LIVE Entertainment, Great food, cold beverages, carnival rides, The Craft Festival, and a Business Expo! Located on Main Street in the Main Street Parking lot between Hillside and Duane in Downtown Glen Ellyn. The carnival location is Downtown Glen Ellyn in the Glenwood/ Crescent lot.
