DINING OUTDOORS IS SUCH A TREAT IN CHICAGOLAND

WESTERN SUBURBS – As the weather changes from winter to spring we all want to put the convertible tops down, open the windows, and get outside! We put our lawn furniture out, find our picnic baskets and coolers, and setup the bonfire pits. We are so ready to enjoy the fresh air, good music, and awesome food.

So why not start by playing a round of golf then checking out Pearce’s Pub & Grill’s brand new menu while enjoying fresh entrees on the outdoor deck overlooking the Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego. And if golfing’s your thing, next head to Reserve 22 at The Village Links of Glen Ellyn which offers the perfect backdrop for your dining al fresco needs as the number 22 represents the 22 lakes that complement the 240 acres of scenic, Village Links golf course landscape, which is populated by native vegetation and diverse wildlife.

If you want to meet friends at the local park or riverwalk, but still feel like dining in style, you can grab Lunch Bento Boxes from Swordfish Contemporary Sushi in Batavia. They service all palettes from Vegetarian Boxes to Chicken Boxes; Salmon Boxes to Sushi Combo Boxes.

Looking for something totally different, grab a seat at Barbakoa Tacos & Tequila bar in Downers Grove featuring lively music and a library of more than 100 tequilas, or sink into a cushioned couch with a craft beer or cool cocktail in the enclosed patio and lounge. Not one to sit still and dine long? Head to Downers Sand Club Sports Bar and Brill in Downers Grove. Beyond the outdoor patio and great food, enjoy weekly entertainment, darts, bags, pool, karaoke, dancing, car shows, DJs, and of course, indoor sand volleyball!

Love music and the outdoor ambiance, Potter’s Place has the largest outdoor patio in Naperville and offers great Mexican food and live entertainment throughout the spring and summer months. One of the newer outdoor dining scenes in Naperville is Old Town Pour House which boasts the largest beer list in the Western Suburbs.

Eating outdoors is what spring is all about, so get out and enjoy it today! -Kristen Kucharski
