LOCAL NEWS | Naperville Home Intruder, Reminder to Lock Doors

ALERT FROM THE CITY OF NAPERVILLE

For the second time in the last week, Naperville Police have responded to a residence for a report of the homeowner being awoken by a stranger in their home, with entry having been gained through an unlocked door.

This morning's incident (Thursday, Feb 15) occurred in the 100 block of South Whispering Hills Drive. The suspect is described as a male black, 30-40 years old, approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall, wearing a blue or black coat.

Residents are urged to always lock their doors and windows and to please report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods to 9-1-1.
