BEING A CUSTOMER IN YOUR OWN INDUSTRY IS EYE OPENING OPAL ENTERPRISES–Opal Enterprises installs windows, siding and roofing products. We do not design nor build exterior decks. But both services are in the construction industry. When it was time to get my home's deck re-designed and re-built, like you, I went to a social media platform for local recommendations. I also looked to local advertising for businesses to call upon. 5 companies called. 2 I left voice messages with no returned calls-ever. 1 disconnected phone number. 1 was single-man contractor with no business licence or company---just a handy man. And finally, a company that immediately mentioned how "far" my house was to their location and that my deck would be quoted at a premium to make up for the distance the sales rep had drove. If this sounds frustrating. It was. I am ever so proud that my remodeling company has a live person to answer every call during business hours, we call people back immediately, we are licenced and certified. But mostly, we care about your experience and we never forget what it feels like to be a homeowner, trying to give a business your hard earned money.
