FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT
To celebrate 150 years since Frank Lloyd Wright’s birth on June 8, 1867, the Trust will be holding many events all summer long. But we wanted to invite our readers to learn more about a fabulous tour that is available daily. The Wright Around Oak Park tour is an exclusive in-depth tour and the Trust’s most exclusive and comprehensive tour of Frank Lloyd Wright in Oak Park with an all-inclusive interpreter led tour limited to ten persons.
Step ahead of the crowd and trace Wright’s early years, from his studio where the Prairie style was conceived, to Oak Park’s beautifully preserved private Prairie homes and greatest public building of the Prairie period, Unity Temple (exterior only as the building is currently closed for restoration).
In the company of an expert guide, trace the evolution of architectural ideas from concept to completion, while also following the development of America’s most influential architect.
