CELEBRATED ACTOR ADDS AUTHOR TO HIS REPERTOIRE

His breakout role came with 1989’s Dead Poets Society, and he’s known for many other major motion pictures since then, including Boyhood and Training Day. But these days, Ethan Hawke has added writing to his talent repertoire. So on Saturday, June 11 at 5:30 pm, fans can meet Ethan Hawke- the author- at a special Anderson’s Bookshop event in celebration of Indeh, his latest graphic novel. His book, co-written with Greg Ruth, will be discussed at Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E. Chicago Ave., on the campus of North Central College. About the Book:

The year is 1872. The place, the Apache nations, a region torn apart by decades of war. The people, like Goyahkla, lose his family and everything he loves. About the Authors:

Ethan Hawke is an accomplished actor, screenwriter, film and theatre director, and novelist. He has been nominated for Academy Awards for both acting and writing, a Tony award, and a Drama Desk Award for both acting and directing.

Greg Ruth is a New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of The Lost Boy, and illustrator for Freaks of the Heartland and Conan comics, among others. He lives in Western Massachusetts.
