History Speaks Lecture Series: Bette Davis • January 8 Few actresses in the history of film rival Bette Davis's longevity and appeal. This witty, sharp portrayal by actress and historian Leslie Goddard reveals Davis not only as a riveting personality, but as the ultimate star in the Golden Age of Hollywood. This presentation of the History Speaks Lecture Series will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, January 10 at Century Memorial Chapel, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville. Moscow Festival Ballet: Cinderella • January 10 Founded by legendary Bolshoi Ballet principal dancer Sergei Radchenko, Moscow Festival Ballet is steeped in classical Russian technique and grandeur. Portrayal of Actress Mary Pickford In Glen Ellyn • January 23 The Glen Ellyn Historical Society presents “Glen Ellyn at the Movies.” The first program in this five month project is Leslie Goddard, renowned Chicago actress and historian who will be at the Glen Ellyn History Center portraying the famous actress, Mary Pickford. Sinatra Forever: Salute to Frank Sinatra • January 30 North Central College welcomes Rick Michel in "Sinatra Forever: Salute to Frank Sinatra," a show that focuses entirely on the music of Frank Sinatra January 30.
