Proprietor – Debbie Williams

AMERICAN FARE WITH FLARE & DISTINCTION

Come on in.. Sit down and enjoy dinner with friends… That is the best way to describe the dining experience at Adelle’s. Proprietor Debbie Williams along with Chef John Anderson invite you to dinner.

Since 2004 Adelle’s has been the meeting place for home cooked meals with flare and a staff that are like old friends. Each American inspired dish is prepared with the finest ingredients in an innovative way. The specials contain the seasons’ best. They wait all year for the Copper River Salmon and morel mushrooms to grace their presence in a variety of dishes. Start your dining experience with the risotto – a new one every day.

We had grilled sweet corn, green onion, morel mushrooms, blueberry demi-glace topped with grilled lamb chops. The risotto was a perfect combination of sweet and savory. Share a magnificent salad of baby arugula gently tossed with avocado, Cashel bleu cheese, oranges, champagne vinaigrette topped with toasted almonds. A classic and favorite the meatloaf has been on the menu since the day they opened. This gluten free meatloaf is surrounded by a rich mushroom bordelaise sauce.

Every entrée is paired with sides to compliment and make each bite a tasting sensation. The meatloaf is accompanied by perfectly prepared garlicky green bean sauté with roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Our favorite part of the dish is the chipotle ketchup which adds a nice bit of zest to each bite. A favorite comfort food is the crunchy coated chicken breast drizzled with a smooth tomato butter sauce paired with velvety cheddar mashed potatoes, fresh grilled asparagus and delicate onion strings. Each bite kept us wanting this dining adventure to never end.

Grab your family and enjoy a meal around the table. Grab a date and dine underneath the pagoda or meet an old friend on the vine and flower covered patio for a glass of sangria. The Sangria recipe shared with Debbie from her friend Emilio of Emilio’s Tapas. Just make sure to savor the flavors and share a conversation with family, friends, or your sister.

ABOUT THE CRITICS Stephanie & Tiffany Schmoker are west suburban sisters who have always shared a love for dining out and they also enjoy cooking together.
