About Wente Vineyards
Wente Vineyards Celebrates 130th Vintage with Packaging Redesign
Wente Vineyards, the oldest, continuously-operated family owned winery in America, celebrates its 130th vintage release with a packaging redesign for its wine portfolio. The redesign gives new focus to its Estate Grown and Single Vineyard portfolio of wines, while paying tribute to this fifth generation family-run winery. The estate vineyards at Wente Family Estates are ideally located in a microclimate that allows the 5th Generation Winemaker Karl Wente to produce highly quality wines each vintage
Founded in 1883, Wente Vineyards maintains its leadership role in California winegrowing and is proud to be recognized as California’s First Family of Chardonnay. Blending traditional and innovative winemaking practices, the winemaking team draws from approximately 3,000 acres of certified sustainable estate vineyards in the Livermore Valley, San Francisco Bay and Arroyo Seco, Monterey appellations to create an outstanding portfolio of wines.
