15 FASCINATING FACES OF 2023 | Wendy Hayum-Gross of Grow Wellness Naperville


Helping the Underserved through Grow Wellness Group

NAPERVILLE–From the warm greeting when you arrive, to the coffee and tea bar, to the cozy couches and amenities at Grow Wellness Group, Wendy invites you to settle in and begin your journey to greater healing, resilience and empowerment.

 

Inspired to go to school mid-life to formally train to be a therapist, Wendy started her mental health business to help out a few people, and could not stop. She began as a community volunteer in Indian Prairie School District 204, serving on the diversity committee at Hill Middle School.  She also immersed herself in the Rotary Club of Naperville, serving as the president of the club in 2015-16, as well as serving on the boards of Loaves and Fishes, NCTV-17, and Project HELP. 

 

She has used her personal experiences, including being the Pink Cadillac Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics and earning her Masters in Education to bring her passions to life, such as deepening and further integrating the mind and body via pro bono community workshops, a new yoga and barre studio, and forming a nonprofit foundation to provide mental wellness services to the underserved.
