Lisa Kollavennu, Downers Grove/Hinsdale

Inspired by Wellness House in Hinsdale’s mission to support individuals with cancer to copiously feel better inside, utilizing a whole person approach, Downers Grove resident and Licensed Professional Counselor was recently named Executive Director of the organization. This was due to her ability to conceptualize and deliver

psychosocial interventions for cancer patients while wholly understanding and assessing the impact of their programs.

Lisa carries her passion and compassion home to husband and three kids and enjoys cheering sideline for them; as well as volunteering at their schools and serving as an active member of the Downers Grove Junior Women’s Club. When time permits, Lisa appreciates playing the piano, seeing musicals, and watching the Cubs.

Embracing the gift of life, Lisa has learned to live fully, laugh fully, and love fully. -Kristen Kucharski
