Madonnari Off Main & Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts Held August 20th-23rd, 2009 Madonnari Off Main, an Italian street chalk festival, and The Glen Ellyn Lion's Annual Festival of the Arts were held in downtown Glen Ellyn during the weekend of August 20th-23rd, 2009. Both unique events were community celebrations of art. Residents gathered to view one-of-a-kind sidewalk chalk murals as well as original work by over 57 different artists.
