– Last Fling to Host Collective Soul Labor Day Weekend The Naperville Jaycees are happy to announce Collective Soul will perform at 8 p.m. on the Rotary Hill Main Stage at the Last Fling, Saturday, Sept. 4 this Labor Day weekend.
– Glen Ellyn Bookstore Celebrated 50th Anniversary this Month The Bookstore in Glen Ellyn held a 50th Anniversary celebration on Thursday, August 19. The event featured free cake and prizes to thank the community for its support throughout the years. In addition to the 50 year celebration, The Bookstore recognized the 25 year commitment of its current owner, Jane Stroh, and celebrated the success of its 50 Hour Reading Marathon held in June for the benefit of the Glen Ellyn Children's Resource Center
– “FLYING SOLO” A One-Woman Play On Sunday, September 26, 2010 at 2p.m., Midway Village Museum presents “Flying Solo” a special one-woman play at the DuPage County Historical Museum. The DuPage County Historical Museum is located at 102 E Wesley Street in Wheaton IL. Tickets for this event are $10.00 per person with limited seating available.
