SERVING SUBURBAN FAMILIES SINCE 1981: Step Inside Dr. Robert Weber's Practice

The art of a beautiful smile begins with an orthodontist who not only gives patients beautiful, straight teeth, but also understands how orthodontic treatment can greatly enhance a patient's facial aesthetics. Since 1981, Dr. Weber has been providing just that type of treatment to all his patients. "We are committed to caring for each patient as if they were a member of our own family," says Weber Orthodontics owner, Dr. Robert Weber. "Luckily, today's orthodontic patients are no longer limited to the traditional 'tin grin' of years ago," says Dr. Weber. "With recent technological advances in orthodontics, I am able to provide patients with the same outstanding results without anyone ever knowing they even had braces on their teeth! Today, patients can choose from the traditional metal brackets, clear or ceramic brackets, Invisalign and the new state-of-the art appliance-Incognito-braces that go behind the teeth and are virtually invisible."

Dr. Weber observes patients as early as 7 years old to evaluate any potential orthodontic problems. Early adverse orthodontic problems include severe crowding, open bite, cross bite, and protruding teeth. Some early orthodontic problems require an initial short phase of treatment. Other times, however, Dr. Weber monitors the dental growth and development until orthodontic treatment is necessary. When treatment is recommended, young patients now have their choice between Invisalign Teen, traditional metal, ceramic or the new Incognito appliance.

Dr. Weber is very aware of patients' desire to have straight teeth without anyone knowing they are wearing braces. Therefore, he is

focused on providing his patients with what he calls "aesthetic orthodontics." He is one of only two
orthodontists in the state of Illinois who is both a premier provider of Incognito and a premier provider of Invisalign/Invisalign Teen. "I can treat even the most complex orthodontic problems with the Incognito braces. There are no limitations," Dr. Weber says. "I also really enjoy treating teenagers and adults with both Invisalign and Incognito. With Invisalign, patients no longer have to worry about brushing around the braces, injuries in sports, or having to place limitations on what they eat for fear of breaking brackets." He further shares that Invisalign and Incognito are great for the young actors and models of the community, as both appliances are virtually invisible.

Dr. Weber is an active member of the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce and the Wheaton Lions Club, and he supports local public and private schools with contributions to annual auctions and fundraisers. Dr. Weber's community concern extends to Smiles Changes Lives, a nonprofit organization providing access to life-changing, essential orthodontic treatment for children from low-income families. He is also a member of the Cleft, Lip and Palate Team at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. "It's my way of giving back to the community," he says.
