Mother's Day Celebrations Downtown Naperville
D owntown Naperville has many events in store for mothers this year just in time for Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 9th.
While families are shopping for their mother’s gift in downtown Naperville, they can register her to win one of a 100 or more valuable gift certificates from one of the many shops, restaurants and spas in the downtown. Entry forms completed by Saturday, May 8th can be found at various stores in the downtown and 100 lucky mothers will be notified via email Mother’s Day morning if they won one of these gift certificates.
Also, on both Friday and Saturday, May 7th and May 8th, six stores geographically distributed around the downtown will be giving out a free single stem pink rose (while supplies last) to mothers or their family members to give to her. The 6 stores that will be distributing the free roses include Hot Mama (located at the Main Street Promenade, 55 S. Main Street), M2 Boutique & Marbles: the Brain Store (located at 121 & 123 S. Washington Street), Lilliians Shoppe (located at 32 W. Chicago Avenue), Little Luxuries (located at 212 S. Main Street), the Canterbury Shoppe (located at 175 W. Jackson Avenue) and Saraboo Creek (located at 107 W. Jefferson). One free rose will be distributed per family at the 6 locations until they are gone, both Friday & Saturday.
Free family photos will also be taken from a professional photographer on Saturday, May 8th from 10AM – 2PM and again on Mother’s Day from 9AM – 1PM. The photos will take taken in a scenic setting in the archway of the Main Street Promenade at 55 S. Main Street, on a first come first served basis. A complimentary 4 x 6 photo will be available for pick-up in a memorable frame, compliments of the Main Street Promenade Shops. Additional photos will be available for purchase.
Finally, downtown Naperville has many options to treat mom for Mother’s Day brunch or dinner. Hugo’s Frog Bar & Fish House, Catch 35, Heaven on Seven, Tango Grill and others are offering elaborate Mother’s Day brunch & dinner menus.
