2009 U.S. Women's Triathlon Series
Held June 14, 2009
Over 2,000 athletes took park in the 2009 U.S. Women’s Triathlon Series which took place on Sunday, June 14th. A total of 80 relay teams were involved in the 750-meter swim, 22.8-Kilmoeter bike race and 5-Kilometer run. Naperville was the first of 3 cities to host the WTS. Naperville resident and mother of two, Jennifer Garrison, won the event by nearly 5 minutes. She also won the competition in 2006 & 2007.
