MARVELOUS MOMS
> Back To Stories
One of the most challenging stages of a woman’s life is motherhood. Local awe-inspiring moms share how they balance everyday life with children.
Jill McMillan, Glen Ellyn
Jill McMillan feels blessed to have found a balance in her life where she can be at home with her daughters, ages 3 and 5, and have a flexible profession that she truly loves. As an Independent Thirty-one Party Consultant, as well as the owner of Jill's Fashion Party, the balance of being a mom and female business owner isn’t always easy but with the help of her husband and daughters they like being a busy family and having a schedule of events planned. “I'm a passionate person who believes in enjoying life to the fullest,” Jill shares. Her daughters also love fashion as much as she does and have been Ford Fashion Models since they were 3 months old.
Angie Johnson, Montgomery
As the Artistic Director of Young Naperville Singers, the wife of a Naperville Firefighter/ Paramedic, and the mother of three young children, Angie Johnson is busy and blessed. All of her children love music and love to watch her teach and direct. I want my children to know that they are the most important young people in my life, but I also want them to know that we are to live our lives to have impact, serve others, and change our world for the better,” Angie says. “For me, changing the world means working with young people and sharing my passion for music.” She hopes her children grow up to have even greater opportunities and remember to be unafraid to follow their own dreams and passions.
