Although Jill and Richard Card have never worked harder in their lives, they are personally fulfilled owning and operating Jeans & A Cute Top Shop, now in two locations. "The satisfaction of thinking big and putting no boundaries on our business is tremendously exhilarating," Jill says. After just one visit to Jeans & A Cute Top Shop, customers realize that the store is true to its name. Jeans and cute tops are the primary focus along with the jewelry, shoes and accessories that pull your whole look together. The store takes pride in providing the perfect-fitting "on trend" jean that is right for your body type and lifestyle and offers denim in various inseams, rises, and styles. "We are a problem-solving boutique," Jill says. "We are a friendly, affordable and multigenerational boutique." Their goal is to help their clients find jeans that fit and styles that flatter, and they even offer free basic hem alterations for their petite clients. Although the store's list of denim brands and top lines is extensive, the staff's personal favorite item in the shop isn't a jean or a top, it is the Invisibelt. "This clever plastic belt has changed my life in denim," Jill says. "It holds in a small gap in the back of jeans, allows bending over and bleacher sitting without embarrassment, and flattens that aggravating 'pokey thing' by the buttonhole. This magical product is just one of the many ways that we try to solve fashion issues for our clients."
