KidsMatter Job Fair March 23
The KidsMatter Job Fair is THE one-stop place for young people to find seasonal & summer jobs along with learning valuable career skills to help them prepare for the workforce. The Job Fair provides job opportunities as well as workshops such as: resume building, how to apply for internships, mock interviews, vocational fields and even learning how to start their own business. Last year's Fair attracted over 1,500 students.
This event is sponsored by a grant from The DuPage Community Foundation and is supported by the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce. Illinois Energy Windows & Siding, Glancer Magazine, State Representative Darlene Senger are the Fair's business sponsors. Wednesday, March 23,

Wheaton Seeks Good Citizens: Nominations Due April 15
If you know a Wheaton resident who is an exceptionally good citizen, Wheaton's Community Relations Commission wants to hear from you. The commission is seeking nominations for its 2011 Good Citizen Awards, which recognize residents whose actions have benefitted other Wheaton residents or the Wheaton community by:
• Volunteering many hours of personal time to a civic organization, group or service club
• Accomplishing a good deed by going above and beyond the expected, or
• Performing a heroic act, such as assisting a neighbor in a time of need or crisis.
Awards will be given in four categories: high school student, adult, senior citizen and group.
To nominate someone, explain why the resident(s) should be recognized in two pages or less. Describe what the person did and how it made a difference in the lives of Wheaton community members or classmates. Be sure to include the name, address and nominating category of the nominee plus your name, address and phone number. Nominations are due by April 15, 2011, and should be sent either by mail to the City Clerk, Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, IL 60187, or by email to sbarrett-hagen@wheaton.il.us.
Tea for Three at Cantigny: March 28

A Big Show On The Big Screen: March 24
Gather a group for a relaxing afternoon flick… for free!
