THE STORY BEHIND ALI KAT BOUTIQUE
Five years ago, Sandy Moore, a Glen Ellyn resident, felt her downtown was missing a great gift, accessory and teen boutique. With a love for style and a passion for the unique, Sandy opened AliKat Boutique the 21st day of September 2006. As the downtown changed so did AliKat adding womens apparel to the already great mix of teen clothing, gifts, housewares and jewelry. "Stray from the ordinary" is AliKat's tagline and exactly what Sandy and her friendly staff strive for whenever they are bringing in new brands. "We want our clients to find unique and beautiful gifts for themselves and their friends" says Sandy. "We love to support local artists such as paper products from PJ Greetings and Bella Ink as well as jewelry from Dana Reed and Teru Amaro. However, we are always on the lookout for new, cool brands and appreciate client recommendations."
Join AliKat the week of September 21-24 for their 5 Year Anniversary Celebration. A Trunk Show will kick off the festivities on Wednesday the 21st featuring classic leather goods with an edge by Lodis. Bring a friend to our Cocktail Party Thursday the 22nd for a fun night of great music, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, gift bags, raffle drawings and models showing the latest looks. Friday the 23rd will feature an exciting jewelry designer and an opportunity to win something special.
